Seafood with spicy garlic sauce

Chef notes:
You’ll love this sauce, tangy and spicy. Use this dish as an appetizer for 6 or main dish for 3.

Ingredients:
16 oz (two 8 oz packages) Shining Ocean surimi seafood
1½ Tbsp chili paste
¼ cup Hoisin sauce
1 Tbsp chopped garlic
1 Tbsp dark sesame oil
¼ cup chicken stock, broth or bouillon
1 Tbsp oil
Thinly sliced green onions for garnish

Directions:
Gently sauté surimi seafood in oil until heated through. Mix all the ingredients for the dressing and carefully work it into the surimi seafood. Serve this as appetizer or over steamed rice with a side salad.

Variation:
Use only one 8 oz package of Crab Smart and 2 cups of lightly steamed mixed vegetables. Gently sauté surimi seafood in oil, add steamed vegetables and carefully mix it with the spicy garlic sauce. Serve over cooked rice. Serves two.
