Seafood Crab and Asparagus Quiche
Ingredients:
8 oz package Crab or Lobster Smart flakes
2 nine inch pie crusts
Frozen asparagus, 12 oz bag or fresh equivalent
2 Tbsp bacon bits, prepared or homemade
1 cup grated cheese
4 eggs
1 cup milk
Salt, pepper, seasoning mix
3 medium onions
3 crushed cloves garlic sautéed
Directions:
Prick the bottom of the pie shells with a fork a few times and bake the empty pie shells at 350 F for 4 minutes. Place onions in the bottom, followed by bacon bits, then cheese, asparagus and Crab Smart. Pour egg/milk mixture over everything, almost up to the top of the piecrust. Make more mixture if necessary. 1 egg will set 1⁄4 cup of milk. Bake at 350 F until egg mixture has set and the top is golden brown.
