Cream of Seafood Soup

Chef notes:
There are three basic ingredients: surimi seafood, cream soup and vegetables. However, dozens of easy variations are possible, so you’ll want to make this one again and again. This is also a great way to use leftovers. Here’s how.

Surimi seafood: use any of the delicious products from Shining Ocean

Cream soup: use any canned cream of celery, chicken asparagus, etc. or make your own using chicken broth, vegetable broth or canned clam juice.

Use your favorite spice blend to enhance the taste of the cream soup.
Vegetables: any combination of veggies, freshly steamed, frozen, canned or leftover.

Optional addition: cooked rice, pasta, cubed cooked potatoes.
The following recipe is only one way to prepare this versatile soup.

Serves 4 as an appetizer or 2 as a main dish. 

Ingredients :
8 oz package of Shining Ocean surimi seafood
11 – 14 oz bag mixed frozen vegetables
1 small can cream soup
Old Bay seasoning
1 Tbsp chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Directions:
Prepare and heat cream soup according to package directions.
Prepare vegetables according to package directions and add to the soup.
Add surimi seafood and simmer for 3-4 minutes to blend flavors.
Season with Old Bay if desired and garnish with chopped parsley.
